The Lyceum Institute Endowment Fund seeks to establish a secure foundation for a new paradigm of education. The fund began in 2025 with a $100,000 gift.
The endowment is intended to support a stable faculty, successive generations of students, continuing research and publication, and an intellectual community capable of planning beyond annual fundraising.

Advance Education Beyond the university
Education belongs to life itself
The Lyceum’s model treats education neither as credentialing nor as preparation for a life that begins elsewhere. Education is realized through intellectual habits formed in inquiry, order, and memory.
Faculty guide these habits through seminars, the Trivium, classical languages, reading, discussion, research, and writing. The digital setting broadens access without replacing personal instruction or common intellectual work.
A permanent endowment allows that work to mature without sacrificing the small scale, continuity, and attention by which it remains genuinely educational.

Leave a bequest
If you would like to leave a bequest to the Lyceum Institute Endowment Fund, add: “LYCEUM INSTITUTE INCORPORATED, a New York charitable nonstock corporation” to your will or estate-planning documents, including an amount and that you would like it to go to the Endowment Fund. You may also give through the Fidelity Endowed Giving Program.
