Maritain Musings

I would like to draw attention to two episodes of the American Maritain Association’s podcast, Maritain Musings, hosted by our own Dr. Matthew Minerd.

The first features friend of the Lyceum Institute, Dr. Jim Jacobs, Director of Philosophy Programs at Notre Dame Seminary in New Orleans, Louisiana. Together with Dr. Minerd, Dr. Jacobs discusses the relationship between church and state in Maritain’s work, Man and the State.

The second sees Fr. Cajetan Cuddy, Assistant Professor of Dogmatic and Moral Theology at the Dominican House of Studies in Washington, D.C., join Dr. Minerd to discuss the relationship between Maritain and Fr. Reginald Garrigou-Lagrange.

For anyone looking to get a deeper understanding of Jacques Maritain as both a thinker and a person, these episodes (and all others on the podcast) will be of great assistance!
