Meet the Columbanus Fellows: Sneha Jain

News and Announcements

Today we introduce another of our Columbanus Fellows—dedicated students demonstrating their commitment and desire to grow in knowledge, wisdom, and understanding through a creative retrieval of the classic Western tradition and participation in genuine dialogical inquiry.

Sneha Jain is an alumna of The University of Texas at Austin, where she earned a B.S. in Chemical Engineering and B.A. in Liberal Arts. During her time there, she was a twice-awarded FLAS Fellowship recipient and had the opportunity to study the Russian language and culture in Moscow and Tbilisi. Sneha has since joined the workforce, but she is a strong believer in lifelong learning and continues her practice of study, in and out of the classroom.

Sneha joined the Lyceum Institute in search of a community for serious philosophical study. While she is new to this study, she is encouraged by the camaraderie and free-flowing dialogue at the Lyceum Institute. Sneha is grateful for the emphasis on habitual study and the pervasive spirit of inquiry the Columbanus Fellowship, in particular, fosters. As she progresses through the fellowship, she looks forward to better understanding the Western tradition and finding points of similarity from her own upbringing in an Eastern tradition.

If you are able, please support Sneha and the other Fellows with a donation to our Columbanus Fellowship fund.
